CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

It was a drama filled weekend on the turf at L'Amoreaux as teams battled in frigid and rainy conditions for the league championships. Congratulations to Teiamwork and Samba for capturing their respective titles! Final MVP awards were presented to Akihiko Tse of Teiamwork and Ryan Berry of Samba. Thanks to all teams for a wonderful season - hope to see you back on the pitch next year!!

GOLDEN BOOT WINNERS

Congratulations to Chris Schifitto of Scarbarians FC and Adam Rickman of Samba for taking the Golden Boot trophy in their respective divisions! This is the second Golden Boot award for Adam - he previously won it in 2008 as a member of Team Blue in Division B.

INDOOR FALL SEASON - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Details of our Indoor season have been posted on our Indoor section of the website.. programs will be held on Sundays (11am-2pm), Mondays (8pm-12am) and Tuesdays (8pm-12am). Spaces will be extremely limited and spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Check our Indoor section for more details.

MAPLE LEAF SOCCER ON TWITTER

Due to dozens of calls/texts from players asking for an update with the heavy rain last weekend, the league will be trying out a Twitter account for the season to provide instant updates to all players. Follow the league at www.twitter.com/mapleleafsoccer for updates throughout the season.

A reminder that only in extreme cases will games be cancelled ahead of your game time.. always prepare to come to the field for your scheduled time and a decision to cancel will be made at the field.

DEADLINE TO ADD PLAYERS TO ROSTER - JUNE 25/26

Teams will have up to the tournament weekend (June 25/26) to make any new additions to their teams. Any new team members must complete and sign a registration form, and pay their registration fees in full. If an existing registered player wishes to transfer their spot to another player, there will be a $25 fee. After June 25/26, teams will have to stay with the rosters they have regardless of injury or attrition.
